The sample books

Look around with sample books builds Acme Anvil Co. on your computer and opens it: a made-up blacksmith shop, an LLC taxed as an S corporation with two shareholders, with January 2025 through September 2026 of activity. 2025 is finished and locked. September 2026 is left part-done so you can try everything: transactions to categorize, Interview questions, AI suggestions to review, an overdue invoice, and a folder of documents to drop in the Inbox.

  • It lives in Documents, in a folder called Nani Sample Books. Its passphrase is acme-anvil-demo.
  • Changes you make to it stay. To start fresh, delete that folder and choose Look around with sample books again.
